Track, Volleyball, Basketball
Cassie is included among the all-time best female athletes in North Central Washington. At Cascade High School, she starred in track, volleyball and basketball. Cassie won two consecutive state of Washington heptathlon championships among prep athletes from all classifications. She also won numerous state 2A championships in the javelin, 100 hurdles and 300 hurdles including a 144-7 toss in 2005.

Cassie earned all-state 2A honors in volleyball and honorable mention all-state honors in basketball while being named league Player of the Year in both sports as well as multiple all-league berths.

She was among the top track athletes ever to compete for Idaho State University. In 2010, Cassie finished 8th at the NCAA-I national championships in the heptathlon and competed in that event at the national championships three times. She also placed 15th at the NCAA-I championships in the javelin with a school record throw of 161-10. In all, Cassie won several Big Sky Conference titles including a school record 5,563 point heptathlon performance in 2008.

She was among just four athletes to receive four or more Sports Awards as North Central Washington's athlete of the year (two in both high school and college) and was among eight athletes to be a Sports Awards finalist seven or more times (three times in high school and four times in college).
