UNIVERSITY OF PUGET SOUND ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME
Burdette Sterling came to the College of Puget Sound after proving himself as an outstanding athlete and leader at Wenatchee High School. Burdette earned the duty as the starting single-wing quarterback for the Loggers' football team from 1930-34. He was considered to be among the best players in the Northwest as both a passer and ball carrier during his time while earning two All-Northwest Conference berths. He possessed seemingly effortless ability seen in superior athletes while invariably accomplishing goals that were set out to achieve.
