Fuel to gain a competitive edge

Perhaps a reality check is in order for those of you who think that with the wave of a magic wand the entire NFL season can somehow be laid out with 100% accuracy.  Look around and you’ll see a whole fistful of followers espousing the gospel of who will do what.  Too many are merely using averages of past performance or canned projections.

Professional football is a high impact, interactive business played, at least for now, by human beings.  And those humanoids tend to break, to suffer physical, mental and personal ups and downs.  Who can really predict when all-Pro running back Bubba Bolinsky is going to slip on a snot rag in the locker room and severely pull his hammy minutes before game time? The playing field is never totally level – and that’s what makes the game of fantasy football such a kick in the fanny.

As in any competitive endeavor, winning is an elixir that makes it even more worthwhile.  Lets face it, a fantasy season can be a grind when losses mount up.  True, raw information exists for every fantasy team owner to digest, but, unless retired, a lottery winner, or someone with absolutely no life outside of the realm of playing gridiron mind games, who has the massive amount of time necessary to devote to really doing it well?

What is valuable, though, is to fuel a team with FANTASY Gas – an independent source with solid, quickly accessible and readable information calculated from factors that truly influence and project performance with as much credibility as humanly possible.  Fantasy team owners don’t have to be rocket scientists to understand and use it, either.  By nature, FANTASY Gas does not follow the herd nor look to see what the pack is doing.

The idea is to look ahead – not behind - to anticipate, to make moves ahead of the curve.  Of course, gaining a competitive edge that piles up dub-ewes, and having an enjoyable, not all-consuming experience as a fantasy team owner is the goal.  Ultimately, once a team gets fueled-up with Ethyl at the FANTASY Gas pump, there’s still more than enough driving to be done by owners and managers to keep everyone’s mind in the game.
