Molinari makes most of real world second

P.Sies produce a grand salami at the Deere

Since no other WooGA squad did squat at the John Deere, the P.Sies won all the dough including win, place, show along with medalist moola. The result of greedily pocketing everything in sight was to boost Paine Shreinbeck way in front moneywise of the 36th WGA Tour, $654.50 ahead of Sangeteve Harvey's way back Wabbits, after depositing 188 bucks into P.Sie coffers.

P.Sie Francesco Molinari became the WooGA medalist despite a real world runnerup finish to Michael Kim to give Paine Shreinbeck a very rare grand salami.

While barely hanging on to the Season Team Scoring lead, the Hackers lost 7 pops to the Strokers who now challenge a mere 3 whacks back. As would be expected, the P.Sies sliced 23 strokes from the second place Strokers' advantage (and a whopping 30 from the pacesetting Hackers) to lurk just 6 out of the runnerup spot. The Slyders, meanwhile, tumbled 32 farther out of third to trail the P.Sies by 55 hacks.

Stroker Bryson DeChambeau suffered a shoulder injury and withdrew at the Deere, but assumed the lead in the Season Medalist Melee anyway. Flossie Charles Howell jumped two spots from fourth despite treading water and trails DeChambeau by 22. Hacker Jamie Lovemark also took a siesta, but still managed to climb from fifth to third, 5 out of second. Of course, with only five golfers now qualified for consideration, a bunch not shown are certainly within striking distance of the top three.

The following hackers have been expunged in ReDraft #3: Jammers - Tom Hoge and Ball Busters - Trey Mullinax. These golfers, plus any others not currently on rosters, are eligible to be picked up. Participants need to submit two whackers by emailing jamertes@gmail.com, in order of preference, by 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 23. Added golfers will then count for respective teams at the Canadian Open.

It's over the pond next to Carnoustie for the last capital stop of the 36th Tour at The Open Championship. Defending champs are the Ball Busters and medalist a year ago was Jordan Spieth. It can't help but to be noted that Sangeteve Harvey is the odds-on favorite to drink from the claret jug with 10 Rabbits on the first tee. Next most prolific in the field are Harry Palmer, Jeff Mertes, and Richmond P. Neff with 8 apiece.
